Feb 2010 Northern Rivers Portrait Prize entry - Jenni Caffin

Jeni is one of my wife’s oldest friends. They caught up with each other in a Byron Bay coffee shop after a 40-year gap! I chose Jeni as a subject for the Northern Rivers Portrait Prize hoping to convey her “larger-than-life” colourful personality and with a respect for her contribution to the local community.

July 2009 Kazoom Kids Book

As Art Director I worked closely with both the author and illustrator to complete this children's book about motorcycles. I was also responsible for the production, branding and promotion artwork on this project. On the right you can see the cover and a couple of inside pages. You can also visit the website at kazoom.com for more detailed information on this particular project.

Late last year I received a commission from the State Library of Queensland to produce a trapeze sculpture with two suspended figures for the "Knowledge Walk" (foyer) of the State Library. On the right you can see the source photographs, drawings and the hanging finished piece.
